vRealize Automation (7.6) & MSSQL 2016 Issue

Came back to work today after some much needed rest and noticed some big issues with the homelab, some of my thin provisioned datastores showing up as 0% free šŸ™ on investigation my SQL 2016 VM had consumed all available space i had given it, which in turn burned through my available on the datastore.

I only have one database running on it, so the culprit was vRealize Automation chewing through it….

The long and short of it is when installing vRA and you use a MSSQL database ensure the DB is set to MS SQL 2014.

Now to run the SQL Query to clear it down šŸ™‚
